Two models of ShockStop are available.  One is sealed for damp and wet locations. The other is a fan-based model for controlled environment and higher current needs.

Model VMX720S Sealed Unit

• Welder style: For use on direct current welder, reverse, or straight polarity.
• Current rating: Welding or air arcing

How do I select the proper model of ShockStop?
The model of ShockStop needed will depend on working conditions at the welding machine. A sealed unit is recommended if conditions are damp. A fan-cooled unit is recommended if welding for longer periods of time in a controlled environment.
